I had to soak my A4 carb in one of the Gallon cans of carb soak you buy and pull all the jets as there were small critters left traped all over

carb kit

btw, i got the carb kit @ o'riley auto for 15$.... moyer = 88 CLR marine = 45... i have the bendix version and the kit fit like a glove...

what was the part # and i like to see what you got as the jets in my carb seem to complex to be replaced for 15 dollars

One is 3 inches long and has 6 precise holes in it at ?

kit

i had em look it up based on the (continental?) brand behind the universal name... its basically a tractor engine. jets, pin... clip... myrid assortment of gaskets... new throttle screw w/spring...

make sure you use the new pin clip for proper seating

also comes with a handy miniruler for float adjutment... on the bendix i think i set it at 1 5/32

6 holes? are you talking about a gasket or the screwed in air valve kinda thing? i think i just cleaned that with b12, but im not sure what you are refering to

oh

i think i might still have the schematic that came w/the kit on the QuickMick... if so ill see if i cant snap a photo of it to send you....

i obviously cant photo the kit....its installed... lol.

The more costly kit comes with all the internal brass parts some of which are complex
