A4 Clutch & Throttle Control Replacement

Catalina Direct: Clutch and Throttle Control Retrofit Atomic 4

I'd appreciate thoughts on this replacement. Twice now, while coming into a slip the bracket holding the clutch cable slipped leaving me with no choice but to turn off the engine while in very tight quarters. Needless to say, some paint was lost while we wrestled the boat into the slip sans engine.

I see alternative as replacing the cable, so the added cost over that would run about $200 which seems reasonable if the contraption works.

So, it would appear that you have wheel steering as that throttle/shift control is meant to fit on a binnacle or steering post. Catalina Direct has a decent reputation for their parts.
