Beneteau 373 with Yanmar 3JH5E Impellor question

Hello - Im doing an engine service on the above boat. In the owners manual it mentions 2 impellor pullers that are to be used to remove the impellor, Is a puller required on this engine? I have a 3GM which did not require this...

Thanks

To answer my own question, you could probably get away without it, but it makes it super easy to change out the impellor. ANd its not expensive.

Re: Beneteau 373 with Yanmar 3JH5E Impellor question

Another question about above engine: It has an oil fill cap on top of the engine. It has another one, starboard side, under the fuel filter. Is that just an alternative place to add oil? Does it matter which is used?

Thanks much

Just an alternatif way to add oil. Yanmar does not know how engine is going to be installed, so they added a lower oil filler possibility in case top access if difficult.
