Oceanis 351 Manuals.

Currently working on 1994 Oceanis 351, as a “project” boat.
I would appreciate any links/directions/copies of boat/ engine/ wiring manuals.

Bluejohn -

I know that you can register the boat and join the Beneteau Club on their site. Within that I think there are links to different items you might be looking for.

I bought a used 2002 Oceanis 332. Joined the Beneteau Club on the Web(No charge). I called them up and they send me the manual via email. The manual provides block level and one line diagrams. Do not expect detail diagrams.

Thanks for above suggestions.
I’ve used the same source couple weeks ago, it is a good start.

Just tried to log onto the Beneteau Club and sez "server not found" - anyone know why?

Also, I am seeking an Owner's Manual for my 10-yo 461; can anyone assist me (the book in out of print @ Beneteau) ?

I am currently looking at a Beneteau 351. Are you available for questions?

winches on 1996 Beneteau 351 ???

I am looking into this model and am intrigued to see that they mostly had two Lewmars at the companionway only.

Is this typical and does it pose a disadvatage when singlehanded?

The boats we sailed all seemed to have been rigged with two winches at the back of cockpit sides.

thanks

any other feedback on this model would be appreciated.

Fred, I hope this message get to you. Yes we have owned "Our Dream" a 1997 OC 351 since 1999. Basically we love it. She is ideal for a couple to sail. With 5' 2" draft she is ideal for gunkholing here in the Chesapeake Bay. We love the Roller Furling and easy of sail handling. The 2 winch setup took a bit of learning but with the double ended main sheet and a little planning ahead it works fine. The only major casualty has been loosing the prop about 2 years ago. Motored out sailed about 2 hours went to roll in the main started engine and no joy. Checked shaft etc. called Boat US got towed in and diver checked not prop nut, no key, no prop? As well that ends well gave me excuse to get an Autoprop I was lusting for. Autoprop is great +1 Knt sailing and great maneuvering in reverse. Otherwise routine annual maintenance. If you have any other specific questions contact me at rgetty at hotmail dot com. Bob PS The reason I don't post on Sailnet is it's clunky interface and stupid rules. A few years ago when the list went belly up along with sailnet most Beneteau sailors moved to Beneteau-Owners Group at Google Groups dot com
