Anyone else have a Beneteau 50 or 505 ?

I have a new-to-me Beneteau 505, the 4 cabin version of the Beneteau 50.

Looking for others who have owned -- or still own -- this model.

Anyone else have a '50 ?

I was looking at them last year, nice boats. I figured they'd make a fast cruiser but after being caught out in the nasty on my boat, that long fall across that monster cabin makes me nervous. Hell, it's bad enough with my 10' beam and handhold everywhere. I saw a 3 cabin boat with the crews quarters forward that I liked a lot. Great place to stuff sails or Grandkids.

Yes, I have that crew cabin too, so there's actually 5 cabins. The fore cabin we use for sails, and for the peices to the sailing dinghy.
