Arrow B-43 information

I tried to start a discussion on items re: B43 on this site using the OC 43 thread and I agree with feedback that a new thread should be started. However, I find this one difficult and prefer Yahoo groups. A Beneteau 43 group exists there.
I believe a dedicated group by model and with separate topis would work best.
Hope to share info there.
Thoughts and comments welcomed.

I am not a big fan of Yahoo (spam!). That's one of the reasons we created [EDIT-JRP]. There's a bunch of us, Beneteau 43 owners, on there already. I think a group there would be most effective.

Hello, I am a new Oc-43 owner, have commissioned her in Ardrosan, Scotland and now she is lying in Fethiye, Turkey. we sailed her down in June. It was teh mother of all sea trials. But she faired extremey well, with nothing but minor bits and bobs,as one would expect on a new boat. We have sailed her sicne extensively, and logged in over 4,000 miles this year. I was skeptical at first at buying a new model. But the 43, they say, is a culmination of trials on the 40,46, and 50 of the series.

Hope we keep in touch and share some expeiences and changes we have made.

Mike and Aida

Hey Mike and Aida! 4,000 miles!! I want to hear more! You can read about our (much shorter) maiden voyage here: [EDIT-JRP]

We're getting ready to put a lot more miles on our 43 soon so I'm very interested in hearing what went well and what to watch out for. Please, do tell!

CanDrac...you know it is both irritating and against the rules here to keep flogging your for profit web site in your posts.

Camaraderie,

My apologies if my previous post irritated you or any other SailNet member. I felt that I was responding to a direct question by another member and that I was adding value to the discussion.

But now I realize SailNet has very specific rules which are strictly enforced so as a member of this community I intend to respect them.

Thanks,
