Moorings 32.2

Hello,

I looked at a 2006 Moorings 32.2 today that looks to be very well cared for and just out of charter. I'm not that impressed with the broker as they had it listed as a 323 and then said it's a 322, after my own research I found it to be a 311.

My concern is it being a Moorings and how much of it is not the same as a Oceanis 311, what is the thoughts of purchasing a charter boat like this, does a charter boat have the same problems that a rental car would have (ie) abused?

The cost is 70k for a 4 year old immaculate looking Beneteau and that sounds awesome to me and my pocket book.

Thanks

The Moorings 32.2 is indeed an upgraded Beneteau 323. I have a 2006 Moorings 35.2 which is a Beneteau 343. The Beneteau 311 is the predecessor to the 323. I'm glad to hear its in good condition mine is being refurbished right now. R

Having to be refurbished this early is this a sign to stay away from them? I just checked the brokers site and they still have it listed and listed as a 322, I did locate a 32.2 in the Seattle area and the owner told me it was a Bene 311.

BVI Charter boats get alot of use in 5 years, at the very least they have to take off the branding. You will have 2-3,000 engine hours but the boats are being cleaned and maintained regularly.
If you look on the Beneteau USA website they have information and Brochures for previous models. As of this year the 343 and 323 have been replaced with newer models. R
