2002 Jeanneau 43 DS for sale / BVI

Check out the information at Yachtworld "Solitaire" For Sale for general information on the boat. I am only parting with this boat because I would like something somewhat larger, the boat is currently stored on the hard at Nanny Cay. I am also willing to deliver the boat as part of the sale price - within reason, of course. Please PM me for additional details if you are interested.

"Solitaire" has sold to a nice Canadian gent and his family who will be sailing around the Caribbean for a while. I don't think he will be keeping the name of the boat. During the post-partum depression I realized that the 43DS really is an excellent boat - I ended up trading up to a larger (or too large) boat, a Jeanneau 49DS.

NOOOOOOO.......Not buyers remorse already!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Gee, with an extra 6', you should be able to bring 3 ladies along instead of two! aack!

I am sure once you get used to the new boat, she will perform as well or better than the old one!

personally, I'd like one of the new SF3200's in my slip! or an older SF35 or 37. an SF32 would be ok too!

Marty

Congrats Zan...But where are the pictures?????? Have you been out on your new vessel yet? I was out today and tried a few radio calls to Solitare and also to the name of your new boat to see if you were within hailing distance.

Great sailing today, I hope you were out enjoying it too.

I am in the slip next to my old boat right now. I am still unpacking my stuff and figuring out stowage on the new one, and if all goes well and I study the new systems then I will head out in 2 days. I'll probably chicken out and do the typical milk run to the Bight then, if the boat is still afloat, head up to the North Sound. I am stuck in a pretty tough slip at Nanny Cay and will need to be certain that my bowthruster is working in order to get out. Amazing how just a couple of feet LWL make parking tougher. I had never missed the bowthruster on the old one, but without this accessory the new one is more than a handful. The Gori prop seems to generate more prop walk, too.

I will take some pictures and post them soon; and try to get 3 hotties on board as well - but I think the former promise is going to be significanly easier to keep than the latter!
