Looking for a trailer Sailer

Looking for a trailerable sailboat that is easy to sail. ( Still in the learning phase) I am in the New York area

I would like any advice on a good boat to learn with

Thanks!

Aquarius 23. Very easy to sail, great day or weekend sailer. Built very well. Easy to trailer. My very first and still my only sailboat!

Catalina 22 (easy to find, still has good support) the O'day 22, any of the small hunters, just find something you like that fits your budget and start sailing. Of course a lot of people will tell you to take classes, good advice, but if you are like me, you get more form the class if you have something to reference it to. Find a second hand book that will show you the basic's, and try them out. Hook up with someone who has been sailing for a while and go out with them. key thing is to enjoy you time on the boat
