SC versus Ga registration
I am buying a sailboat in Fl and would like to minimize sales/ property tax. I can dock the boat in either SC or GA as both are close. SC sls tx is only $300 vs GA's $6000. Can I do this without being a SC resident as I live in GA ?

Check on tangible property tax. There is no free lunch when it comes to the tax man.
