Jeanneau 42 DS

I am looking for a Jeanneau 42 DS 2008, 2009 or 2010. Let me know if you know of someone selling at croberge@embjc.com.

Thanks

blt2ski will become famous soon enough
Does it HAVE to be a 42? or could it be a 49DS? if so, zanshin on here, and the jeanneau owners forum is looking to sell his 49, and go to a the new 57 model. You might try that forum too, www.jeanneau-owners.com

blt2ski - Wo, I did 't realize you were a member of the Jeanneau forum; that was the only place I've mentioned my intent to sell

I should also add that my previous boat, a 2006 43DS, is up for sale as well. The family that purchased her did so with the intent of taking 1-2 years off and sail around the Caribbean with their 2 kids and they've now completed their odyssey and are returning to life on the hard.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Sailingdog - the attraction of the Jeanneau 57 is just too much (finally, a GARAGE for the dinghy!) and by the time a sale of the 49DS goes through the first slightly used and somewhat experienced 57 models might already be on the market. I am still really happy with the 49 and if there is little interest in her then I'll replace one water tank with an extra fuel tank and then I'll be off through the Panama next March.

I have a suggestion:

Might take a few extra years to save your pennies for it though.

I saw that he'd reduced his asking price from €100,000,000 to a mere €99´,000,000 so it looks like a bargain

Seriously, though, the 57 is at the far upper limit of what I feel comfortable sailing alone, the 49 is actually more than sufficiently large but ... I can resist anything except temptation.

The 49'er will make you more comfortable, given what you have experienced so far - although - Bigger Is Better!

Remember your first sailing experience? We all did it an scows, prams, sailing boards?
