Coronado 25 or C&C 24

Found a Coronado 25 for the same price as the C&C 24. Waiting to hear back on what it needs. Searched under the review but I did not see Coronado's with the other type boats. Will decide on a boat by next week.

Thanks,

Bill

Here is the reply I recieved for what is needed on the Coronado 25:

The boat needs to be hauled for bottom cleaning and paint, and needs a general cleaning.

There are no Coronado sails, but I will throw in some Cal 25 sails.

There is a Honda outboard which probably needs a lower unit.

There is no battery, and there are no cockpit cushions.

I can find and include a suitable anchor and rode.

The mast will step so the boat can be trailered with a suitable trailer, and can be located inland of a bridge.

Thanks for any input,
Bill USMC

That boat probably has a negative value... the ouboard needs a lower unit—which is a very expensive part to replace. The sails may or may not fit. etc...

I'd highly recommend you read the Boat Inspection Trip Tips thread I wrote and use it to evaluate any boats you look at.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
