I sold a catboat in this price range, and it was a good experience. Not sure I know a broker who's interested in boats at this price range, so I did it myself.
I put up a web site with a description of the boat (easy way, using one of the big web guys build it yourself for free web services). Listed in local papers (people aren't probably going to travel cross country to buy a boat in this price range), and waited. I got a handful of calls over a 3 or 4 month period. I talked to each caller, tried to figure out what they were after, tried to guide them on if my boat was a good fit or not. If not, I suggested other alternatives. Tried to be consultative.
Finally, one guy called who really wanted a catboat. He knew what he wanted. He knew of the builder. He was clearly qualified. Googled him (sometimes I think we could stop terrorism if we did this before you got on a plane, but that's another story
), and verified he lived nearby and was qualified.
Invited him to take a look. By the this time, I knew enough about him (and he probably about me), that a fair amount of trust was developed. We did a deal. I helped him get the boat ready, rig it, etc. Nice guy. He's happy, I'm happy. Was a lot of fun, and didn't take a lot of time. YMMV.
