For Sale: Hartley TS18

TS18 3/4 Rig - IRENE

For Sale: Hartley TS18-dsc00059a.jpg

Have the best of both worlds!!

Club TS18 Champion 2008, two-time winner of John Brown Trophy and not sailed since, this race-winning yacht is also fitted out for comfortable overnight cruising and is ready to go.

Sails & Rig: Mainsail, #1 Genoa, #2 Cruising jib, Storm jib and Spinnaker all in good condition. New racing #2 headsail (never used). 3/4 stainless rig, aluminium spars and halyards in excellent condition. 4 x Barlow winches (sheets/halyards) and many new cleats and fittings.

Equipment: 7.5Hp Johnson 2-stroke outboard w/- alternator, recently serviced, runs well. Twin burner metho stove and icebox with storage bin/nav table opposite and Porta-Potti forward. Sleeps 2-4 on new foam cushions and cloth upholstery.

Includes cockpit-mounted bilge pump, Plastimo compass, barometer, fenders and mooring lines. Plough anchor with chain and rope rode in self-draining anchor locker. Full electrics including 12V battery, 27Mhz radio, nav and cabin lights. Safety equipment includes: Fire extinguisher, 4 x Type 1 PFD’s, horseshoe float with drogue.

Single-axle tilt trailer in good condition with new tyres, rims and brakes. Boat and trailer reg’d to Oct 2011.

As the current owner of an older, larger boat, this is a reluctant sale to a good home.

Victorian TS18-21 Club Members : A$8,000.00
Everyone else : A$8,500.00

PM me for more details - genuine buyers only please.

The son of one of IRENE's orginal owners came by and bought the boat Saturday morning. I got what I wanted and she's in good hands.

Now I can pay a few bills and (hopefully) still have enough left for a new mainsail!

Congrats! We'll always have a special place in our hearts for a TS-16 we salvaged and used for a Junior sailing program.
