Surveyer Recommendation - Jacksonville to Charleston

I had good luck with recommendations from the board when we were shopping for a broker, and now that we're finally in the negotiations stage on our boat, I'm looking for some surveyer recommendations.

The boat is in GA (Brunswick) and I figure someone located somewhere between Jacksonville and Charleston should be willing to travel there without me having to buy plane tickets and pay for multiple hotel nights. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against travel time and expenses for somebody good, but figure there has to be some good surveyers within a few hours of Brunswick.

So, anybody have someone to recommend?

Thanks,

Daz

How about local? Larry Credle. SAMS accredited marine surveyor, Brunswick, Ga. (912) 230-4014 ...or Frank Barron, Jekyll Island, (706)331-8260

Thanks, Have you used either of them?
I already had their names (and another close by in Darien) from the SAMS site - I was just hoping for some personal recommendations before starting my emails and phonecalls.
