Newport 30

Thinking about buying a Newport 30. Does anyone have any pros or cons to a Newport 30. Any comments are welcome.

Son bought his as a dorm room in Charleston. Loves it! Has 1 roommate, has worked out great as live aboard. We added shore power. He is taking sailing lessons (as a college course, I'm jealous) to boost his confidence in taking it out. Been a great boat!
