Ultima Noche in Barcelona

Did anyone notice this beautiful boat on ebay?

1964 Pearson Vangaurd 33ft Sailboat, Blue-water/ Coastal Cruiser In Barcelona 1964 Pearson Vangaurd 33ft Sailboat, Blue-water/ Coastal Cruiser In Barcelona | eBay

It looks like a nice buy for $7500 buy it now price, but it's over there.

Too bad I don't have more experience, plus there are a lot of scams on ebay. Does anyone know this boat and trust that it's really there and really what they say it is?

visit yachtworld.com and search for 33' sailboats for $1500 in the US. You'll get many hits, and they're all over here.

Good luck...MGM

$15 K is a pretty high price for these boats over here. We owned one when they were a new. They were not all that well constructed and they are now nearly 50 years old. And frankly I would never call one a blue water cruiser by any stretch of the imagination. They do make decent coastal cruisers in venues which do not have heavy or light air as the prevailing condition.

Don't forget the most important part - if you own one you can simply sit on the dock and LOOK at it any time you want.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken, opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
