Used daysailer for Lake sailing

I am looking for a used daysailer for doing some lake sailing and have kind of narrowed my decision down to a 2000 Hunter 170 and an a 2006 American Sail 18. I have crewed a lot when I was younger on larger boats, but this will be my first sailboat so I will be kind of starting anew with sailing. Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge or experience with either of these boats.

Any help is appreciated.
