28' 1975 Capital Yachts Newport 28 for sale. Atomic 4 inboard gas engine, 25 hp. Navy blue hull, white topsides.

Cabin has 6' of headroom, v-berth, head, galley, side and quarter berths. CD player and speakers. Sleeps five.

All safety equipment up to date. Handheld UHF radio included.

Sails in good shape. Main, 130 genny and working jib (yankee cut) included.

14 lb Danforth anchor and 120' of rode included.

Slip at White Rocks is paid through June. Very convenient to Inner Harbor and the Bay.

Have owned since 2007, family never took to sailing. Time to move on. Asking $5000 obo.

Glad to take you out anytime for sail. This is a nice boat, has never given me any problems.

Very solid construction, hull is solid fiberglass, no core. Engine runs great. In the time I've owned her I've replaced the head gasket, carb, water pump, and exhaust system, and had the alternator rebuilt. Has two batteries, one starter, one deep-cycle marine for the house bank. Shore power cord
included.

Yes, it'll be a drag to hand her over to someone else, but my plan is to find something trailerable -- either sailboat or (gasp) motor-driven. While I do love sailing, "messing about in boats" is my true love; even a waverunner might do, since no one else in the family is interested.

So pass the word around. My Newport is a nice boat and would give someone many hours of pleasure on the water. I know she has for me.
