retired sailor plays

Hey all, I'm Marc and I have too much time on my hands...and there are too many great boats sitting. So I've been going around the Annapolis and Bay area finding some. Some very cool boats that need a new family to love them. Like a Cal 29 (two of them actually). Ever sailed one? If you have you know the meaning of a balanced sailboat. How about a Islander MKII (chime in Bob, I'd love to hear from you on this one). Also an Alan Gurney designed Oday 27. Or a Cheoy Lee Pedrick 41 the cabin of which is amazing. Or my personal boat until a month ago, a 1981 Tartan 37. Ooops. Forgot the 1975 Camper-Nicholson 33 (Ron Holland design). This boat has hardware that is incredible...but I'm seeing if I can find nice homes for these. I also own a Hinckley Bermuda 40, which I say is my retirement home...but everything is for sale for the right price...So contact me if you want to find a good boat...

Re: retired sailor plays

Nice hobby Sir.

I am a boat freak as well.

So many threads on sailors in search of their perfect to them vessel.

Of course a sailor needs about 7 different boats to cover off on all the permutations.

So it truly is an onerous task (finding perfect boat) because most of us can only deal with one boat at a time.

And if you have ADHD, like most sailors, look out... : )

Well the perfect boat to me is one where the owner wants it gone, or bust and for a song.

There has to be deals out there

Cheers

Doog
