If you find a boat that is far away, someone can take a look at it and tell you if it's as advertized, total junk, or somewhere in between. I am on Long Island, so I might be able to look at the boat for you.

Barry - thanks for that. I might take you up on it. First need to figure out if it at all reasonable to ship boat up here or sail it back. Boat is in West Islip NY

Poker - that sailcalc site looks interesting. Heavy on numbers. I'll have to play with that a bit
