Want to buy Pacific Seacraft 34

We want to purchase a PS 34, preferable late 80s early 90s. We are in Puget Sound area. We've been looking for a year and are ready to purchase.

Re: Want to buy Pacific Seacraft 34

Thank you for the suggestions. We are hoping to find someone who has a PSC 34 that is not being used and are beginning to think about selling. We have, and are, trying the more conventional avenues.

Does anyone have a PSC 34 that they would like to sell? If so, we would like to buy. We have have thoroughly examined and poked around many vessels so that we know what we want and are very ready to buy.

You might try contacting as many members as you can on the PSC owners site(s). Ask if they know of anyone interested in selling. Start waving cash around, that usually stirs up interest.

Re: Want to buy Pacific Seacraft 34

If you are ready to buy and have not found one in a year, perhaps you need to expand into other brands as well. While PSC makes a great boat, they are not the only one that makes a great boat. I think people often get tunnel visioned into very narrow markets.

We love our Pacific Seacraft 34! Great boat. Better than the 37.

We found it hard to find a boat with similar qualities and build quality in the size range. I am guessing that is why it is hard to find one at a steep discount.

Better then the 37 ??
I don't think so.
I will stick with Crealock's original .. before being asked to make compromises to come up with the 34 :-)

Re: Want to buy Pacific Seacraft 34

Wife was a liveaboard on a stinkpotter as a kid but wanted to break her in to sailing on a small strong sailboat in preparation for buying my last boat (Outbound 46) and being liveaboards on her. Got the admiral to sail "off the shelf", to manage the PSC in and out of harbors by herself, to sail the boat to windward for a 50m board by herself, to surf in the ocean rollers. To know how to cook, sleep, reef etc. on a boat during passage. The PSC34 was just the right boat. Steady in a seaway.not to big to be intiminating to a 4'10" 100lb lady. If you want the little lady ( boat not wife-never trade her in) send me a PM.

Mine is for sale and I live in NW. How ever it is at Seacraft yacht sales in Lake Union. I also have a monitor windvane, complete boat cover, and a cruising symmetrical spinnaker for sale
