Re: Am I out of line on my boat offer?
Anytime a seller starts getting all weird about YOU shelling out YOUR money on a survey, it's time to walk away. Doesn't matter if the boat is selling for around $20,000, $200,000, or $2,000.
And why does he owe the broker if the broker didn't sell the boat for him?? (I'm guessing slip fees that the seller would have had to pay anyway) Gotta agree with Mike, that's his (the seller's) problem.
Never forget them. Do something to prevent it from happening again.
