Anyone have an opinion on a 1975 CAL 2-27?

CAL 2-27

IMHO this is a nicely designed , welll made boat that performed better than similar sized boats of that age. The Vire gas engine is a so-so powerplant, I''d prefer an outboard on the transom. For the kind of short money this age boat gets, I''d consider one ahead of most anything else of similar age, and of anything older, except the C&C 27 which is one step up.

Well thanks very much. I''m going to look at one this week. She seems like a nice boat but my concern was the relatively low price compared to some other boats I''ve seen such as Catalinas and Odays. It''s always been my impression the CAL was a step up from them.
