Is anyone familiar with "Barberis" boats? Apparently they are manufactured by an Italian company.

I''m particularly interested in the type of hull construction they have, and build quality. Thanks!

Hello Stede

I have a Barberis Show34 and love it. Doug Peterson design 6 foot draft. Very strong boat. Hard to come by in the states. I sail out of Salem, MA Lived aboard full time for 6 years until we left on a one year cruise to the Bahamas and Canada. You are right they are built in Italy.

Please don't revive dead threads... it is considered poor net etiquette to do so...and this was dead almost three years.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
