Favorite Multi-Hull Sailboats???

I am trying to expand my horizons and would like some help with research. The only thing I know so far is that the Gunboats look amazing, but way out of reach.

Here are some ground rules so this isn't a dream boat thread...
Bluewater capable... Would love to go to the Caribbean
Realistic selling price around $35k
40/60 split between performance and comfort

Thanks for playing and I look forward to your replies,
Zac

Re: Favorite Multi-Hull Sailboats???

I hope that's a typo and you meant $150K...

A Hobie 18 wouldn't be too comfortable or bluewater capable.

Re: Favorite Multi-Hull Sailboats???

Okak obviously I was really low on the price. I upped it to $35K selling price.

Do yourself a favor, take a moment and plug your $35,000 into Yachtworld.com with whatever other criteria you want...then come back and let us know what you found that you think might suit your aspirations

35K will get you a Catalac 8M in very good shape, a 9M in okay shape-both are old designs, slow designs, by multi-hull standards, but roomy and tough.

The iroquois 30 is a nice looking boat and can be had for around that.
