looking for advice

Knowing well that any boat is a compromise I would like to ask for your collective wisdom on boat choices. Consider the following
-will be a longterm liveaboard with a family of 4, (kids age 6 and 9, boy and girl)
-cost less than $90k
-diesel engine
-ability to cross an ocean (I know this is more a function of the crew, but we all know some boats are more sutible than others!)
-would like kids to each have a "private" area; could consider dividing a generous v-berth area though three staterooms would be nice
-seperate shower stall
-draft less than 6 feet (we have plans to do some canals)
I''ve looked at alot of boats but would like to tap the wisdom of this group for some advice. Thanks!
