Surveyor in CT

Could anybody recommend a good surveyor for the western CT area?
The boat is a Lacoste 42 sloop.

You can try Bill Staedel, he is in Stamford. Good on mechanicals, hull, rigging, etc.

Tony Knowles in Newport is in demand around the world. He has a minimum one day fee, so he may be able to fit the travel time into that day. You will probably pay twice as much as a local who-knows? (so to speak) but you''re likely to get it back a dozen times over. If he can''t do your boat for three weeks - wait!

Has anybody here have any experience or know of Johnson Marine Service out of W. Mystic CT?
