pearson 424 or?

I am at the decision point, will be looking at a ton of boats but one thing has changed. This time I plan to buy.

One boat that really stands out for me is the pearson 424. Is there a thumbs up or down on this? I plan extended cruising eventually even (ha) crossing the ocean.

Thanks, Tim mjpubs@msn.com

Tim, you may be the same fellow from whom I received an email the other day. If so, just reply as I requested...but if not, then you might email me for a follow-up. We''ve been thru-out the Caribbean on our 424 ketch now, up/down the East Coast, and have been cruising the last two years in Europe. I think we can answer at least some of your questions.
