Cheoy lee 44 Ketch

Ok shipmates. What knowlege do you have on a Bob Perry design 1979 44 Cheoy Lee Ketch with wooden spars? should the sticks be kept or switch to aluminum or carbon? I personaly would like to keep the sticks just cause I`m a wood freak but would like to hear your comments. Also any other pros and cons about the boat that you might have.
