surveyor needed near Providence RI

Hi, We are looking for a surveyor who would be very detailed and conservative who could give a boat we are considering near Middletown a very thorough going over. Does anyone have a suggestion. Name and phone would be very helpful, if possible.

I suggest you do a search of the message board on "surveyor" and review prior comments. Here''s one of mine:
Tony Knowles is highly recommended, works on a per day basis - since he was busy for the next two weeks I went with someone else on my last boat - big mistake $$$$! I''ve used William (Bill) Coble several times over the years and I think he is an excellent surveyor. Ive used him both for pre-purchase survey and for an insurance survey. He is in North Kingston which is a few mins from Middletown. His number is 401-295-1389 or can be reached on cobleboatsurveys@cox.net / Good luck. Ask your insurance company but most require a NAMS or SAMS qualified individual for the survey.
