CS 36 - not CSY

This question is really just out of curiousity more than anything. I ran across the CS 36 on yachtworld.com and I really like the way they''re designed down below. So my like for them is completely ergonomic, but I''m curious if they are too a suitable ocean crossing boat, or if they are built just to cruise the bay, or somewhere in between.

As a side note I''m really glad to see sailnet.com''s BB making a come back it seems. There seem to be a lot of new posts everyday.

The CS 36 was built in Canada by Canadian Sailcraft. The boats seem to have an excellent reputation, and were highly recommended to us by local brokers. There is a review by Jack Horner at www.spinshhet.com, and there are other reviews around that I can''''t locate just now.

There are at least 3 boats in our area that have spent time offshore, at least one of those to the Med and back.

CS 36 - not CSY

We''ve owned a CS 36T for five year - the prior owner completed two passages to Latin America. The boat as delivered is built and designed for extended offshore use. We have a listing at http://www.usedboats.com/used-boat-655232.htm
which contains a link to a number of favorable reviews.

Well I knew I had impeccable taste. That is a very nice boat you have there Sailingfool. It''s the perfect kind of boat I''m looking for, too bad I''m still a year away from buying, but I''m not a year away from dreaming.

Sailingfool, I notice that you are in Hingham Mass which is about 30 minutes from me. I dont want to be too up front. But do you think there might be a possibility for me to come check out a CS 36 in the flesh sometime if you''re going to be going to the boat for some reason anyway? If so my email is aclosereachaway@cs.com.

Thanks,

Will
