Liveaboard Boat in Del Sol
I have posted the message below on the Liveaboard Thread.
Ideally, I think, would be a purchase of a boat in the 30' range that will allow a 6'2" older person to liveaboard somewhat comfortably for a couple years. Working locally. This liveaboard quality would be more important that sailing ability I'd think. Resell in a couple years.
So the question to this group would be suggestions for the boat.
Wouldn't need to be high price but reasonably available in the LA area.
This would be a new experience for me.
Thoughts?....
I will be relocating to LAX (airport area) in Los Angeles and would like to consider living in the marina. Anyone have thoughts on:
1. Renting an apartment or house in the marina/general area?
2. Renting and living aboard a yacht in the marina?
3. Purchasing yacht/slip and living in the marina?
Be there a couple years.
