Boy, have you ever have that backwards. If you watch the internet listing services, there are all kinds of wonderful boats for sale in New Zealand at really cheap prices by US standards. These boats represent a wide range of really high quality wood and composite boats in high tech and traditional design. On the other hand, San Francisco is one of the most expensive used boat markets in the United States. I suspect that you could fly to New Zealand, buy your dream boat and sail back and forth across the Pacific and still come out ahead. Of course, the really best deal is to buy a boat in NZ and sell it in ''frisco.
Regards
Jeff

Dear Sir,
If you are looking for a real fine Classic Bermudan Staysail Schooner from 1929 then have a look at my website. She is a perfect ocean going vessel and they would love her in New Zealand. www.carrina.net
