I think in a large part, it depends on the broker. Some just want the bucks, others get satisfaction out of getting someone into a boat. In the end, I think you just have to go with what you feel comfortable with. In my case, since this was a long range deal, using a broker made it a lot easier for me, and I had the "plus" of having a broker who wanted to see me satisfied with the deal. And, he has been very helpful after the sale, and I feel I can go to him for advice and info at anytime.

My experience may be the exception, rather than the rule. But I am well pleased.
