catalina 22/bahama 24

Does anyone know if a catalina 22 fixed keel is made of iron or lead?

Also, I have been offered a 'free' Bahama 24 (early 60s Wayfarer Yacht Corp). The cabin is shot from water sitting in it for years, but the hull seems to be find and the thing is built very well it seems. Does anyone know about this boat?
