AERO RIG and PROUT 50

We are looking at a Prout 50 Catamaran with an AeroRig sail plan, has anyone experience with the Aero Rig sail plan. It is build on a 50' catamaran and looks stable, and easy to single hand with my yound family, but I am new to aero rig and need advise from you professionals out there.

I've heard that it is a pretty good rig...but have no direct experience with it...

You won't find much expertise on the Areo-Rig because it only ended up in production for a short time. There has been C400 with one for sale in California for years now, I get the feeling it will be very hard to sell. I read a few reports of the rig on the web all with bad experiences, Google it and you will find them. No personal experience but it is risky to buy a boat like that unless you know exactly what you are getting yourself into. If that is the boat you really want I would try to buy the boat figuring in the cost of a full rig replacement in case you don't like it.

Most of what I had heard was about the rig, and was just a bit after it came out. I don't know how well the rig did in the long run. Could be that the initial concept was brilliant, but the execution proved less that stellar. GeneT have any specific ones that you'd recommend reading or did you just do a google search?
