What can you tell me about Carri Craft?

I am considering buying a 1968 56' catamaran. It's in good condition - the price is at $94K.

Specifically I'm interested in:

What is Carri Craft's Reputation?

How well do they sell?

How do you react to that price?

I am at a point in my life where it would be useful, fun and an adventure... but, I can't say that I want it for the rest of my life.

I'm worried that once I've gotten it, I won't be able to sell it again. It's somewhat difficult to find insurance policies for a boat that age and that's putting up a warning flag...

I would appreciate any of your thoughts or discussion.

Is this a different boat?

same boat. I hope I'm not being obnoxious posting all my problems...

Not at all. You really like it.

oh, I love it. But if I'm not actually living on it, the cost of keeping it would sink me in the sea of debt... :P

Seems to me you just answered your own question. ;)

Not really - I can certainly afford to live on it now. I'm just wondering if a couple years down the road, I'll be able to sell it... ?
