Well, we did it...

We finally pulled the trigger on a '02 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37. We motored from Deltaville, VA to Deale, Md this past weekend with a brief respite in Solomons.



I'm thankful the first owner sprung for a 40HP diesel after dealing with a headwind for 2 days.



The boat is equipped nicely and should be no problem sailing single handed. She's scheduled for some new bottom paint and I'm looking forward to some time at dock just get familiar with everything.

The previous owner has the MMSI in the VHF (Standard Horizon GX3350S) that I understand must be sent to the factory for reset. Does anyone know if a dealer can do this?

Finally got a couple pics uploaded (and added). More to come!

As far as the MMSI - I've gone the FCC route so I have a new MMSI. I hope to hear back from Standard Horizon soon and I'll let you know the outcome.
