Looking a Catalina 22 - Found some problems

I was looking at an 1986 Catalina 22 and notice a few issues. I was hoping some you have experience with repairing similar issues. The swing keel was badly corroded and I found a few stress fractures on the side near a stanchion. I also notice some stress fractures near the bow pulpit rear stanchions. The was a noticeable bump on one side of the hull that felt like something from the interior was against. It also had some discoloration. I've attached a few pics, except I forgot to take a pic of the bow pulpit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The swing keel on my Catalina 22 doesn't look much better than that. It slows the boat down a bit I'm sure.

More important are the keel pin and the keel cable. The keel cable is easy to inspect, look on the winch and check for rust or split wires. Lower the keel a bit so you can see where the cable connects to the keel (my trailer allows this, not sure if they all do).

The keel pin you can't really inspect without dropping the keel, which is a major job.

The cracks around the stanchion don't look so bad.

As Minne syas That keel rust is just surface rust. It might slow the boat down a bit. Sand and repaint. The pin is hidden underneath and that is the part to worry about.

Those guys got the keel... I'll take the other 2...

The stress fracture at the stanchion is pretty severe... I bet it's leaking below it. Not the end of the world, but I'd be looking at removal of the stanchion, overdrilling, filling with resin, and rebedding that stanchion at the very least. I'd add to that work, grinding out the crack, and fixing/repairing any glass damage, and re-gelcoating the spot... Nothing is end of the world, but it's all a bit of time. Take your time to clean between stages with acetone...

The spot on the side looks like a mis-matched gelcoat repair. Pretty easy to get "Close" to the color not the same. Probably was a gouge that was filled, as you typically grind it out, and feather it, then fill and fair. So it doesn't look structural.

Oh one last thing... the part you didn't mention, looking at the stanchion, you see the shroud behind it. Its showing a pretty significant gink in the cable. That's a no-no... at the very least I'd consider replacing that shroud too.
