Looking for a Gulf Coast area Columbia 26 MkII

When I'm not looking, they're everywhere. When I'm looking for one, they're nowhere...LOL

I'm looking for an inexpensive, nominally sail-ready Columbia 26 MKII in a SALT WATER location, preferably in Texas, but interested in hearing about any Columbia 26MkII in the Gulf area. I'd like to find one in decent shape, but it doesn't have to be Martha Stewart.

type 1 classic, vs type 2. why would you prefer the type 2 boat? is it just style or are there serious things about the type 1 that makes purchasing a no-no. i know the classic has a full keel vs a bolt on fin for the 2 but other than that......anything?? thanks
