Elan Impression 434

Anyone sailing this elan? This is the best and biggest boat inside in this size, maybe bavaria is bigger but not nicer. My question is how god is the boat to sail? Can´t find any test on the boat.
We also checked the salona 45 with much more racingstyle and much more sailarea.

I looked at purchasing this boat but did not buy for a few reasons. 1) No dealer support 2) Stern of the boat is not attractive to me

I ended up with a Jeanneau 42DS. Both the Dealer H&S yachts and Jenneau have been fantastic

The Elan 434 is far superior to the Jeanneau 42 DS. Elans share the same designer as Oyster yachts.

Aside from the fact that this thread was dead until you revived it.. what does two boats sharing a designer have to do with one being better than another. Many designers have designed both good and bad boats... and if the Elan 434 is a bad design from the designer, then it very well may be a dog. I'm not saying it is...but I think your argument is a bit weak IMHO.

not arguing with you and not being negative like others (possibly you), but if someone is truly interested in an Elan they should check it out for themselves and not listen to the numerous arm chair quarterbacks who profess their own "expertise."
