Best Boat Shows?

I would like to visit a boat show or two and need opinions on the best ones to see. We are willing to travel anywhere in the US/Canada. We are looking to compare used blue water boats in the 40-45' range. Any opions on the best shows to attend? The upcoming Annapolis show dates don't fit our schedule. Thanks!

Well if you are looking for used, I'd suggest the Miami show. More used boats down there than anywhere else...but you have to look a a bunch to find a good one. Note that the boat shows only have new ones on display but the brokers are all there with their lists and lots of boats within an hour or two to look at. If you want a blue water boat used...there is really no reason to attend a boat show. Would suggest contacting a broker that specializes in such boats....David Walters in Ft. Lauderdale and Steve Liebowitz in Annapolis are 2 that I know and would recommend. I'm sure others here can provide more names as well.

Thanks for the information and the names. I'm travelling to FL this winter and will contact David Walters before I go.
