30' Peterson/Pearson w/Standing Water

I am thinking about buying a 30' Peterson (I have also heard it called Pearson) but there is about 2 inches of standing fresh water in the hull. (apparently someone left the door open and it rained) Also looked like some gas on top too, but not too much. Are there any major issues I should be worried about?

It could also be from a leak in the fresh water system....If you're serious about getting the boat, get a survey, by a competent surveyor.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
