Etap 39

To All,
I''m probably one to two years away from buying another sailboat. I''ve been doing research and checking prices. I''ve become intersted in the Etap line of boats and am looking at the 39s. Unfortunately, other than the dealer web-site (which includes some sailing magazine reviews of the boat), there doesn''t seem to be a lot of info on the net. I''m trying to get feedback from owners/users of the boat that don''t have a vested interest in "selling" it. Anyone here own or sail the 39 or other Etaps?

Thanks,

Steve

Etap 39

Hi Steve -

I saw your message regarding the Etap 39 on Sailnet. I own a 1987 Etap 30 and would be happy to try to address whatever questions you might have. I''ve become friends with the Etap brokers here in the Chesapeake Bay area and have also struck up a relationship with the factory manager in Belgium. The 39 is a beautiful boat - it and the new Etap 34 were on display at the Annapolis Boat Show this year. I couldn''t be more pleased with the quality of construction of my boat, which has really endured exceptionally well.

Feel free to respond at my personal e-mail address: SReuer@panamsat.com

Best regards,
Stephanie
