Re: Fraser 36 & Rafiki 35

The Fraser 36 is probably a trunk cabin version of the Endurance 35 which Fraser also produced.

Re: Fraser 36 & Rafiki 35

Faster is right. De Kleers built a mould for the Endurance 35 back around '75. They started selling hulls while they built the mould for the original flush deck/pilot house deck design. A few years later they built the trunk cabin deck and called the combo the Fraser 36.

The flush deck 35 is a much better looking boat IMO but the 36 has a considerably more voluminous interior.

The glass work is first rate "basic lamination". The fitout is all over the map as they only sold the mouldings and the boats were finished by the buyers - some yard finished, some backyard finished.

You'll have to take each boat on its own merits - much more so than a production boat.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.
