researching italian made sailboat

I am looking for some information on a used sailboat that I would like to purchase. The boat was built in 1972 and has the following information on the plate: anagni, colledel fi gnore, phyllis, general fiberglass italian, 075578020.

Where would be a good place to start in researching this boat?

Re: Phyllis

Ahoy!

Several of these boats came to Martha's Vineyard in the late 70's and I OWN ONE. The mast mounts on top of a cutty-cabin, they have a deep centerboard that I have filled with chain. Two sleep inside comfortably and two more can camp out under a tarp thrown over the boom. They move nicely with a 6 hp long-shaft outboard.

I'm looking for a suit of sails. SHe hasn't been in the water for a few years, and I might be interested in an offer. Or not. She's sweet!

Hi I Just purchased a Phyllis!
It is in rough shape but I am in the process of refurbishing!
my production number on the placard is number 067. Not sure if that is the year it was built or the number.
Does anyone have any info on how these boats got here etc?
Would love to know more

I did a Google search and all that came up was pictures of Phyllis Diller, and I stopped. Could not go any further to try to refine the search. I was paralyzed by the wild hair!
