Ericson Quality in ''70s

I''ve been looking for so long down here . . . nonetheless, I see an interesting Ericson 37 of 1974 vintage. BUC puts it in the $30,000 to $35,000 range. Tap tap tapping the deck notwithstanding, how was the hull layup on these? Are there any problem areas of note? This looks like a racer-cruiser, deep modified fin keel (about 6''), etc., etc. I might race once in awhile, but cruising/weekend liveaboard is primary. Standing rigging redone with sta-loc and looks good. Anyone know much about these? Thanks. KW
