I delivered a ''99 super maramu from la rochelle, france to Gibraltar- She was a truly phenomenal boat. The layout was a little weird, typically french I suppose, but she had loads of room, a great engine room, a really effective hard dodger, very well thought out and functional ground tackle arrangements, lockers and handholds galore, and she sailed beautifully. She had plenty of main mast, and good distance between the mizzen and main to set a massive staysail when running.
I would say you cannot go wrong with a super M- give me a holler if you have more specific questions.
