Hardin 45 any info on it, or bad?

I am looking at a 45 Hardin 1983 it has wooden spars in good condition but I can't get any information on the boat. Can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help.

Send me a PM. I know someone who owns one. I'll try to track down his email address for you.

I have a Harden 45 1983 with wooden mast and enjoy it. This boat has been around the Horn and the VI's. No problems

I have friends up here who liveaboard and cruise their Hardin 45 all over the San Juans and Gulf Islands and absolutely love it. Had it for quite a few years. They say it's not a fast performance boat, but it handles tougher conditions comfortably enough. Sorry, wish I had more complete information, but at least you know of another happy cruising couple out there on one...

This is one of those boats ('cuz of size, age, yard of origin, etc.) that will demand a very competent surveyor. Trust me, a grand or so now will repay you a zillion fold down the pike.

BTW, one of my favorite (looking) boats. Just be wise and knowledgeable before writing a check.

Good luck................
